WHAT IS ELF?

The Emerging Leader Forum (ELF) is a forum to help developing healthcare professionals learn from experts in the field, refine skills, establish a community, and collectively develop ideas on how we can enable transformation in healthcare (history).  ELF supports the development of young healthcare professionals by providing them with a venue for discussion, debate, networking and the opportunity to learn from established healthcare leaders. ELF focuses on topics and content that are geared towards developing the next generation leaders.

OBJECTIVES OF ELF

  1. To develop relationships amongst new healthcare professionals.
  2. To facilitate the professional development of the next generation healthcare leaders.
  3. To encourage emerging leaders to challenge existing theories and ideas regarding healthcare transformation.
  4. To formulate new ideas on how healthcare transformation can be achieved.

To that end, ELF strives to reach its objectives through the involvement of our members in the following four pillars:

  1. Speakers Series
  2. Guided Leadership Sessions
  3. Development Seminars
  4. Think Tank
